The Air Penny 1 may have debuted at the start of the 1995-96 season, but this special ‘Pinstripe’ edition focuses on the back half of the season. After all, Penny Hardaway effectively became the face of the Orlando Magic after Shaquille O’Neal left for Los Angeles in the ’96 offseason. The Orlando Magic’s signature pinstripes are recreated here through vertical lines formed by ‘1 CENT’ printed in a repeating pattern. Call-outs to 1996 appear on the sockliner.
